School celebrates 100th day of academic year

The 100th day of the academic year was celebrated at Violet Matriculation School in Chitlapakkam.

The 100th Day of the academic year was celebrated in a carnival style at Violet Matriculation and Higher Secondary School in Chitlapakkam recently. Celebrations were based on the theme ‘Healthy Living.’ As many as 100 children from nursery sections took part in fruit parade. Children performed yogasnas and also presented a fusion dance of Bharathanatyam, Dandiya, western and disco. Children recited 100 mathematical formulae, names of 100 scientists, biological terms, medicinal plants and rivers. Felvia Shanthi, Principal, Vels Vinayaga College of Education, was the chief guest. Violet Dhanapalan, gave away the prizes and certificates to the children who excelled in recitation and memory power. N.R.D. Premkumar, secretary and P.E.R. Premchand, Joint Secretary, Violet Group of Institutions, were present.
