Rs. 3,141 cr. for underground drainage

Underground drainage will be created in 22 municipalities and 28 town panchayats at a total cost of Rs. 3,141 crore, Local Administration Minister K.P.Munusamy announced in the Assembly on Wednesday.

Responding to the demand of a number of MLAs , he said Chief Minister Jayalalithaa decided to provide the facility in all the 125 municipalities and 529 town panchayats.
