A three-day property fair ‘My Dream Home Expo-10' being organised by the Chennai Flat Promoters Association (North) was inaugurated at Valluvar Kottam here on Friday.

Nearly 30 property developers are participating in the exhibition to showcase their projects, according to S. Senthil Kumar, president of the Association.

The event is being sponsored by the State Bank of India.

The exhibition features a range of projects being promoted by the property developers, including independent houses, apartments and townships, in and around north Chennai, Mr. Senthil Kumar said. Residential properties ranging from Rs.12 lakh to over Rs.70 lakh are available at the exhibition, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, SBI General Manager (Network 1, Chennai Circle) V.G. Kannan said that the bank's association with the fair is an extension of its relationship with its customers. He said the bank will give in-principle clearance for home loans to those selecting properties at the fair. LIC Housing Finance Ltd is also participating in the fair.

The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
