A pregnant woman was found murdered with her throat slit in her house in Red Hills on Friday afternoon.
Sumathi (26) was three months pregnant and lived with her husband Jayapalan (35), a salesman-cum-driver at a soap distribution agency, on VOC Street in M.A. Nagar. The Red Hills police ruled out the possibility of murder for gain as the woman’s gold jewellery was intact.
