As is the case in most love stories in Kollywood, both actors were busy denying that they were seeing each other. But when Prasanna and Sneha's wedding announcement was made on Wednesday, it seemed like a fairytale finish.

“Yes, we have been together. After filming Achamundu Achamundu , we had become great friends. We kept in touch and realised that it could be more than friendship,” said an excited Prasanna.

However, they were keen on “giving it time. We spent the last two years getting to know each other well. Sneha and I had planned to announce it to the media together. Somehow, the news was leaked. Our families will now take it forward,” he said, adding that it was too early to talk about the wedding date.

Sneha, who is abroad, is said to have been equally surprised when she got calls and messages wishing her. “It is lovely to see that so many people are happy for us,” Prasanna said.

In Achamundu Achamundu the two stars played the lead and their convincing portrayal of a couple settled in the US won critical acclaim.

Both actors are considered good performers, who have played a range of interesting roles. Prasanna received good reviews for his performance in the recent ‘Muran' too.

“We are excited and we will get back with more updates soon,” said the actor.
