Poor-feeding, special pujas mark Jayalalithaa’s birthday

The 62nd birthday of AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa was celebrated across the state by the partymen. They organised feeding of poor, blood donation camps, distribution of dhotis and saris, special pujas at temples and public meetings. In Chennai, a souvenir was released to mark the birthday. Party’s presidium chairman E. Madhusoothanan released the book and Tiruvallur district secretary V. Murthy received it. They also cut a cake weighing 62 kg.

Governor Surjit Singh Barnala, MDMK general secretary Vaiko, CPI State secretary D. Pandian, BJP spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad, BJP leaders Pon Radhakrishnan, L. Ganesan, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, music directors M.S.Viswanathan and Ilayaraja and many others greeted her.
