Photo exhibition to mark 50 years of KVS

The travelling show will highlight iconic moments from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s history

A travelling photo exhibition portraying iconic episodes from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s 50 years of existence will arrive in the city on Monday.

The exhibition, which is coming to the city from Thiruvananthapuram, is touring the country as part of KVS’s golden jubilee celebrations which began in February this year.

“The exhibition started in Delhi and went on two trails. One, towards the west and the other towards to east. The exhibition that travelled east is now in Guwahati,” said N.R. Murali, deputy commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Chennai.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Governor K. Rosaiah on Monday at Anna University.

Avinash Dikshit, commissioner, KVS, senior officials and notable alumni will also participate, an official said.
