Partial restoration of EMU services

The Chief Public Relations Officers, Southern Railway in a statement said consequent to the train accident at Pattabiram on Thursday, all EMU train services between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Avadi/Tiruvallur/ Arakkonam/Tiruttani were suspended.

Following restoration of two lines, the EMU train services will be run with skeleton services every one hour between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Arakkonam till restoration.

However, train services between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Gummidipoondi/Sullurpetta will be normal.
