Para jump goes wrong; woman IAF officer injured

A lady officer of the Indian Air Force was injured in an incident while she was para jumping as part of her training at the Air Force Station in Tambaram on Wednesday morning.

Flight Lieutenant Mohana Chandra was injured when her parachute strayed out of the intended path, a senior Defence Ministry official told The Hindu .

The officer is being treated at the Military Hospital in St. Thomas Mount, he said.
