OUP celebrates centenary year

To mark the centenary year celebration, Oxford University Press (OUP) conducted drawing and storytelling competitions and the prize distribution function was held recently. T. I. Inmozhi of Chennai Public School and Aryan S. Shah of Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School won the drawing and storytelling contests respectively.

The chief guest, Dr. Kumararani Meena Muthiah, in her address, said that the publishing house has always adhered to its objectives of excellence and dissemination of knowledge. She said that she was happy to see a good participation for the competitions.

Venugopal Bhaskaran, Regional Director, Oxford University Press, Chennai, congratulated the winners. . He said that Chennai was chosen to celebrate the centenary year because the city is at the forefront in education.

An exhibition of OUP books, with discounts and new offers, was also organised.
