Nayani the Olive Ridley turtle being released into the sea.

A female Olive Ridley turtle rescued by the Tree Foundation in February was released into the sea on Wednesday. The turtle named ‘Nayani’ was taken on a boat three kilometres off shore from Periya Neelankarai fishing village and released. Rehabilitating injured turtles calls for more volunteers.
