The meet was arranged as part of the 10 year celebrations of the department. Conducted by the current batch of second year students, the event brought together students from various batches of the department, which with an initial strength of two, has now grown to 80. On the occasion, former and current students exchanged their views about the department, its changes and growth.

Arun Bose was elected as president of the alumni board of the department. Former students took a walk around the campus of the college and pledged their continued support for the growth of the college.
