Students and researchers working on web technologies and online security came together at the fifth international conference on ‘Applications of Digital Information and Web Technologies’ organised at PRIST University on Monday.

The conference was held to examine evolving research practices in digital communication and how new practices are changing in the online world, P. Murugesan, chancellor, PRIST University, said.

The global conference, an annual event organised at different universities, was technically supported by the IEEE Communications Society. Participants at the conference discussed digital image processing, internet applications, digital security, communication software, computer networks, digital data mining and innovations in the fields.
