Music director’s father meets police

Father of music director Anirudh Ravichander, on Tuesday, met senior officers at the city police commissionerate in connection with the complaint against his son, over posting of a controversial music number on YouTube.

Lawyer complains

According to sources with the Central Crime Branch, actor-cum-theatre artiste Ravi Raghavendra met the investigators dealing with the complaint lodged on Monday by lawyer S. Jebadas Pandian.

Video taken down

Mr. Raghavendra informed investigators the music video had been removed and his son would cooperate with the police investigation.

Anirudh had also spoken to investigators over the phone and guaranteed his cooperation.

CCB to probe

The complaint lodged by the advocate with the grievance cell in the commissionerate was transferred to the Central Crime Branch for probe, said a senior officer.
