Trains will not be operated between Chennai Beach and Velachery between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Sunday.
A Southern Railway press release said 24 trains operating in this corridor have been cancelled tomorrow "to facilitate engineering works in Chennai Beach – Velachery MRTS section."
Also, the Chennai Egmore–Puducherry passenger train (56037) scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 06.35 hrs will run upto Melmaruvathur only on Sunday.
