MoU inked

M.V. Hospital for Diabetes, Royapuram, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Epidemiology–ICMR, Chennai.

The MoU was about developing studies with field-based epidemiological research and public health and environmental health projects for the prevention and control of diabetes.

The MoU was signed and exchanged by Vijay Viswanathan, head of the hospital, and Sanjay M. Mehendale, director of the institute, according to a press release.

Dr. Mehendale also delivered a talk on ‘Preventing the Tsunami of Non-Communicable Diseases in India’, the release said.
