More traffic changes

Chennai Traffic Police announced a few more changes in the vehicular traffic system in and around T.T.K. Road and C.P. Ramaswamy Road. The changes would come into force from 7 a.m. on Monday. Along C.P. Ramaswamy Road, the stretch up to St. Mary’s Road will be one-way with entry from the side of C.P. Ramaswamy Road-C.V. Raman Road junction. On T.T.K. Road, the stretch beginning near Eldams Road will be one-way up to St. Mary’s Road junction.

Prithvi Avenue will be one-way with entry from Abiramapuram IV Street. D’ Monte Colony from T.T.K. Road to Prithvi Avenue will be two-way. However, Abiramapuram IV Street remains one way with entry from C.P. Ramaswamy Road.

Vehicles coming from C.P. Ramaswamy Road-R.A. Puram 2nd Main Road junction and bound for Alwarpet junction have to take C.P. Ramaswamy Road, St. Mary’s Road and T.T.K. Road to reach Alwarpet. Vehicles on Alwarpet flyover and intending to proceed towards T.T.K. Road-Chamiers Road should take C.P. Ramaswamy Road, St. Mary’s Road to reach T.T.K. Salai-Chamiers Road junction.
