More complaints from people who have allegedly been cheated of crores by conman Sukesh Chandrasekar (23) have been registered at the office of the commissioner of police.
The young conman, who is the boyfriend of arrested Malayalam actor Leena Maria Paul, is suspected to have cheated many persons of up to Rs. 50 crore after promising them government contracts and vehicles.
He was arrested by a Delhi police team in Kolkata on July 4 and handed over to the Central Crime Branch of the city police.
Two fresh complaints were received in the last two days stating that Sukesh had cheated the complainants of over Rs. 1 crore. Sukesh is expected to be interrogated once again soon. He will be taken into police custody by the bank fraud wing in connection with a case in which he fraudulently obtained Rs. 19 crore from a bank in Ambattur.
