MMA bags best management association award

The Madras Management Association (MMA) has received the best management association in India award from Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State of Information and Broadcasting, for its outstanding performance in propagating management movement for the year 2015-16.

According to a statement, “MMA is proud of winning the All India Management Association Best Local Management Association (AIMA) award for the eighth time in a row.” It further added that the award was given to recognise the efforts and contribution in the field of management and to inspire the other management associations in the country to propagate management movement in India.

The award was received by R. Srikanth, president, MMA, and Gp. Capt. R Vijayakumar (Retd) VSM, executive director, MMA, at the valedictory function of AIMA 43rd National Management Convention held at Delhi.

Founded as Madras Institute of Management (MIM) in 1956 in Chennai, MMA helps students, professors, industries and corporates among others enhance their managerial and professional skills.
