Metrowater will conduct open-house meetings in its area offices across the city on Saturday.

The open house will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. in 15 area offices.

The meetings, held on second Saturdays every month, will give residents a chance to voice their grievances on poor water supply and sewerage problems and also clarify any doubts on taxes and charges.

Metrowater superintending engineers will visit area offices in their jurisdiction.

Managing director B. Chandra Mohan will hold meetings in area 8 office on II Avenue, Anna Nagar, at 10 a.m. and in area 10 office on Muthukrishnan Street, T. Nagar, at 11 a.m.

Of the 43 complaint petitions received regarding water supply and sewage disposal at open house meetings held last month, 35 have been addressed and rectified so far, according to an official press release.
