Medicos told to focus on service, not money

Medicos should focus on serving all patients as if they were their own relatives, Madras Medical College Dean V.Kanakasabai urged graduating students of the college recently.

Addressing the graduation day, Dr. Kanakasabai said the students were among the top professionals in the State, and that they must concentrate on service, rather than on making money.

Mayil Vahanan Natarajan, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, distributed prizes.

The Johnstone Gold Medal for the Best Outgoing Student went to A.Mahesh, who also took home 14 other gold medals, including the Best Outgoing Male Student (Dr.Senthil Nathan Gold Medal) Award. The Best Outgoing Female Student award went to Riswana.
