Man succumbs to stab injury in Chennai

A 45-year-old man, who was stabbed by some unidentified assailants in the late hours of Friday, died at Government General Hospital.

Police sources said Loganathan, resident of Chitlapakkam was found on platform 2 of Tambaram railway station with serious cut injuries. He was referred to Tambaram Taluk Government Hospital (Chromepet GH) by Government Railway Police. Later he was referred to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. He died at around 9.30 a.m. on Saturday.
