Man found dead on railway track in Chennai

A body of an unidentified person was found on the railway tracks between Perambur and Vyasarpadi Jeeva railway stations on Thursday. A police official said that based on information from commuters, the Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body that had knife wounds in several places, from the railway tracks near Perambur. The police said the victim was wearing a khaki dress.

“We have also requested information about ‘man missing’ complaints from nearby police stations to identify the victim,” the official said.

The body was sent to Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital.
