A youth fell to death from the second floor of his rented house in T. Nagar on Sunday night.
Mambalam police said Manoj Pratap (25) of Uttar Pradesh and living on Rangan Street in T. Nagar used to sell fans made of peacock feathers in Pondy Bazaar.
He had reportedly consumed alcohol with his roommates on the second floor of his residence. At around 11 p.m., he slipped and fell to his death.
Manoj’s body was sent for post-mortem examination to the Government Royapettah Hospital and handed over to his relatives on Monday, police added.
