'Madras Week' programmes

The following programmes will be organised in the city on Saturday as part of ‘Madras Week.'

Chennai Heritage Tour of NSC Bose Road and Rajaji Salai will be conducted by V.Sriram at 6 a.m. Madras Naturalists' Society and Adyar Poonga Trust organise a nature walk at Adyar Poonga at 6.30 a.m.

A nature walk at Madras Christian College, guided by G.Abraham, will start at 7 a.m.

Sathyabhama Badhreenath talks on the history of Fort St.George at C.P.Art Centre at 10.30 a.m. Chithra Madhavan delivers a lecture at GRT Temple Bay, Mamallapuram at 4 p.m. Nizhal organises a tree walk at WCC, Egmore at 4.30 p.m.

Sruti honours scholars of fine arts at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at 5 p.m. Mime artist Drupad Gaonkar performs at Vanilla Children Place at 5 p.m.

Rajan De delivers a lecture on Graffiti on the walls of Madras at Studio Palazzo at 6 p.m. Commissioner of Police T.Rajendran delivers a lecture on ‘Policing the city' at Taj Mount Road at 6.30 p.m.
