Justice A.P. Shah, former Chairman of the Law Commission and former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, will deliver the second The Hindu Lit for Life Annual Lecture on October 28 at the Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium, Alwarpet. He will discuss the link between literature and law, drawing upon literary examples from classical and popular cultures. The Hindu Lit For Life Lecture is delivered by a distinguished speaker as a precursor to the literature festival in January each year.

Last year, historian and writer Ramachandra Guha delivered the first annual lecture in Bengaluru. The shortlist for The Hindu Prize 2017 will also be announced at the event.

The winner is announced at the Lit for Life in Chennai in January 2018. The lecture is open to all. Those interested in may register at http://bit.ly/
