In >Tamil Nadu, power tariff has gone up and power cuts are back for high tension consumers , but at Mandaveli railway station over 25 tube lights were burning on a Monday morning when natural lights well all over the place. As the train was leaving the platform at 6.24 a.m there was no sign of the lights being switched off.

At Mundagakanniamman station too the platform was bright with tube lights.
