September 27, 2011 09:25 am | Updated August 04, 2016 01:31 am IST - CHENNAI:

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi said on Monday that actions of the State Election Commission appeared to be favouring the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

He made the comment, while answering a question at his party office here.

To another question, he called upon political parties to come together and ensure the smooth conduct of elections to local bodies. If the local bodies' polls were not held in a fair manner, his party would take legal steps, he added.
