Deputy Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Chief Secretary S. Malathi, Home Secretary K. Gnanadesikan, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) K. Radhakrishnan, Inspector General of Police (Intelligence) M.S. Jaffar Sait, among others, were present. Director General of Police Letika Saran and Inspector General of Police (Headquarters) C.K. Gandhirajan spoke. Earlier, Mr. Karunanidhi inaugurated a training centre and Barracks for Women Commandos at the Marutham Complex. A multi-purpose hall at the new building has been allotted to the Special Security of the Special Branch CID wing, police sources said.
