Actor Karthi might think twice before he shaves the next time. Not because a top director wants him to sport a beard in the next film, but because his fiancée likes the rugged look most.
The actor will marry Ranjani of Erode on July 3 said a note from Karthi's parents, the Sivakumars, on Wednesday. Ranjani, graduated from Stella Maris College in Chennai in literature, with a gold medal.
“I never imagined an arranged marriage to be this simple. I spoke to her for about an hour and felt really comfortable,” an excited Karthi said. The actor found out Ranjani's interests in films, too. “She seems to like the Paruthiveeran look a lot.”
Describing her as someone who is “a lot of fun”, Karthi said he had a packed schedule till July. “I have to somehow find time to make a few trips to see her.”
