Kabali is revolutionary, says a ‘thankful’ Rajini

Stating that he was extremely happy after seeing the success of the movie Kabali , Superstar Rajinikanth, in a statement released on Tuesday, said that he was thankful to everyone involved in making the movie a success.

The actor was on a two-month vacation to the US and arrived in Chennai late on Sunday. “While I heard that the movie was doing well when I was in the U.S., I am especially happy after actually seeing how it has been received by everyone here. I thank producer Thanu, director Pa. Ranjith, the rest of the cast and crew of the film and my fans,” he said in a statement released in Tamil.

This is the first time that the actor has spoken at length about the movie as he was not involved in its promotions. He described the movie ‘revolutionary’ and ‘emotional.’ He had taken rest, also undergone medical treatment and returned home “refreshed,” Rajinikanth said, signing off the statement with the phrase – magizhchi.
