ISKCON's year-long programme

International Society for Krishna Consciousness, ISKCON, is conducting a year-long holistic development programme for children aged between five and 10, called the ‘Bhakta Prahlad School.'

The course, held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, will help students develop a strong root in Vedic history, culture and discipline.

It will also include bhajans recitals, Bhagavad Gita slokas, mantra meditation, craft and cultural activity.

The course commenced during the beginning of this month at 17 centres across Chennai including, Adambakkam, Anna Nagar (three centres), K.K. Nagar, Keelkattalai, Mogappair (two centres), Medavakkam, Nungambakkam, Pallikaranai, Perungudi, T. Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Villivakkam, West Mambalam and Mylapore.
