IRCTC trains to pilgrim centres

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a pilgrim tourist train each for Shirdi and the nine Jyothirlingas in February.

The seven-day Guru krupa yatra will include a visit to Shirdi, Mantralayam and Pandharpur and leaves from Madurai via Chennai on February 5. The 14-day Nava Jyothirlinga yatra commences from Madurai on February 14. This tour will not cover Kedarnath, Rameswaram and Kashi, said L. Ravikumar, Additional General Manager (Tourism).

Details are available atwww.irctctourism.comor at railway stations in Chennai Central, Katpadi, Madurai and Coimbatore.

Internationalpackage

The Corporation is also organising a five-day tour to Thailand on February 13 and March 20. More details are available in the Corporation’s website.
