Inter-collegiate cultural event held

Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Padur, celebrated an inter-collegiate cultural event ‘HINDOSTAV 13’ on February 22 and 23. Kadal-fame Goutam Karthik inaugurated the event and the guest of honour was Ms. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Director, actor and anchor of Zee Tamil channel.

Events

'Solo singing, adapt tune, treasure hunt, soap carving and light music formed part of the event, in which nearly 2,000 students form 60 colleges, in and around Chennai, participated.

Ms. Anusha, title winner of ‘Ms. South India 2013’ was the chief guest of the valedictory programme.

Apart from the main guests, Mr. Raghunathan from The Hindu, Mr. Adhavan from Adhitya Channel, Mr. Kiran, Jodi No. 1 winner & Mr. Nikhil Mathew, super singer winner in Vijay TV, RJ Vignesh & RJ Vinoth from Aaha FM, Mr. Sunil Menon, Fashion Choreographer were the judges. The fest came up with high quality entertainment with two main attractions Hot Couture (fashion show) and Groove (group dance).

The overall winning trophy was bagged by D.G. Vaishnav College.
