I-T raids at premises of Jaya TV and Sasikala family

ncome Tax officials are searching the offices belonging to Jaya TV in Chennai.

A senior IT official told The Hindu , “Yes, the search is on. This is a part of our operation called 'clean money',” he added.

Raids are on at nine more firms at various places in Tamil Nadu and across India.

The list includes the residences of jailed AIADMK leader V.K. Sasikala's niece Krishna Priya in T. Nagar, her brother Dhivakaran in Mannargudi, T.T.V. Dhinakaran's uncle Dr. Venkatesh in Thanjavaur and supporters and relatives of Mr. Dhinakaran in the Nilgris, Pudukottai and Tirunelveli, Saradha Paper and Boards Pvt Ltd, Bhavanisagar, Erode district
