Homoeopathy meet held

The Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Tamil Nadu government, and Dr. Koppikar’s Foundation for Homoeopathy, a non- government organisation, conducted a conclave — Vistas of Homoeopathy — on Sunday.

Inaugurating the seminar, health secretary J. Radhakrishnan spoke on the measures taken by the government to raise awareness on homoeopathy.

Various topics including role of homoeopathy in respiratory diseases, career options, surgical conditions treated with homoeopathy, first aid, scope and success of homoeopathy in cancer, homoeopathy’s role in epidemics, mother care and paediatrics and infertility were discussed during the seminar.

Over 200 homoeopathy practitioners from across the country participated in the seminar, a press release said.
