Heritage tour organised for senior citizens

HelpAge India, a non-government organisation working for the cause of the disadvantaged older people, organised a heritage tour for the senior-citizens living in old-age homes across the city.

As many as 50 elderly people from six old-age homes and community centres in and around Chennai, visited Mamallapuram and Thiruvedanthai Nithya Kalyana Perumal Temple, recently.

The tour was flagged off by V. Suma Padmanabhan, Principal, Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Anderson Road, Greams Road, in the school premises.
