Handloom exhibition in Nandanam

To commemorate India Handloom Day, the Central Cottage Industries Emporium (CCIC) will be organising an exhibition at Temple Tower in Nandanam on Sunday at 11.30 a.m.

The exhibition will showcase handloom products including the Benarasi, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Mangalagiri, Kalamkari and Kantha.

The focus of the exhibition is to retain the sanctity of the traditional hand-woven textiles while moulding the styles towards a more contemporary look.

The CCIC will offer a promotional discount of 10 per cent at the exhibition to be held till August 14.
