The Third Annual Graduation ceremony of RMK College of Engineering and Technology was held in the city on February 22.

A total of 374 students received their BE/B.Tech degrees and 18 university rank holders received cash prizes.

V. Varadharaj, associate vice-president, Infosys Ltd, delivered the graduation address and gave away the degree certificates. During his address, he said that the world was teeming with opportunities and it was up to the graduates to grab them.

Mr. Varadharaj opined that education was only half complete with the obtaining of a degree and the rest had to be learnt in the world at large. He asked students to put their heart and soul into their jobs. This would make them competent and indispensible to any organization.

Founder chairman R.S. Munirathinam talked about the achievements of the college at the function.
