The Hindu Discover India Travel & Food Expo begins tomorrow

The Hindu Discover India Travel Expo, an event featuring State tourism boards, tour operators, resorts, online tour guides, airlines, cruise liners and more will kick off on November 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chennai Trade Centre.

Entry is free to the event, which is supported by Incredible India.

Among the tourism boards and service providers who will be present, are the gold sponsors: Telangana Tourism, J&K tourism, Rajasthan Tourism; the silver sponsors: Kerala Tourism, Puducherry tourism, Tamil Nadu Tourism, Gujarat tourism, SOTC, Thomas Cook; travel bag partner: Roshan bags, and mall partner: Ampa Mall.

A selection of cuisines from across India, ‘Taste of India’, will also be available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will include dishes from Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Lucknow, Goa, Mizoram and more. The rates are ₹500 for vegetarian single and ₹750 for non-vegetarian single. There are a number of offers available, such as special corporate, college and school students offers.
