Freezer boxes donated in rural areas

Lions Club International donated five freezer boxes to the poor in rural areas recently. The donation was made during a meeting of Lions Club (324 A1) in Chepauk.

The boxes were distributed to people in Rangat in Port Blair and Kanathur, Thirupathur, and N. Kandigai, in the city. According to a press release from the club, the donation is part of a continuing activity by J.W. Prabu Lucas, district chairperson–Dignity for the Dead (Freezer Boxes). Earlier, eight boxes were donated in July 2014 and January this year.
