Free karate coaching classes for summer

Police Boy's club and Budo Academy for Karate began a free summer karate coaching classes for the poor on May 2 at the police grounds in Eri scheme, Mogappair west. The camp will be held throughout May. The inaugural function was presided over by C.K.Gandhirajan, ADGP. While addressing the gathering he stressed the need for karate as a holistic exercise for mind body and soul.

This event is being held by Shian Mohan, inspector of police for the last nine years under the guidance of Dr.C.Cylendrababu, ADGP.

Apart from karate the students are also initiated into Personality development and English speaking courses.

There is a good support from the local welfare associations and the residents for this programme and the validictory function would be held May 30.

This aim of the academy aim is to increase its strength to many folds from the current student strength of 150 numbers.
