Seven Wells police on Sunday arrested four students of a city college for stabbing a student of another college on an MTC bus here on Thursday.
According to police sources, Giridharan (21), Mahendran (20), Balaji (20) and Sridhar (24) attacked Loganathan (24) inside a moving bus.
The victim suffered stab injury on his shoulder and was admitted to hospital. The motive behind the incident was rivalry among students of the two colleges, the police said.
The arrested students were remanded to custody at the Puzhal prison.
