British Council, Chennai, announces Reading Challenge Programme for children. It is aimed at the age-group nine to 12. The event will be held between Nov. 14 and Dec. 22, at the British Council, Anna Salai.

This year’s theme, ‘Story Lab’ uses the concept of a laboratory as a creative hub, where children are encouraged to read, collect, share, create, transmit and broadcast stories.

They will read six books within the time span. They will also be encouraged to actively participate in workshops and writing reviews. The programme will not only take them through an imaginative adventure but also inculcate reading habit among them.
