Female turtle released after 40 days of rehabilitation

An adult female Olive Ridley turtle, which was found in a dehydrated condition, with her right front flipper missing on February 10, by volunteers of the Sea Turtle Protection Force, was released into the ocean here on Sunday. The turtle, which was named ‘Hope', underwent rehabilitation in a camp for the next 40 days. Once it fully recovered, it was decided to release her into her natural habitat.
