Farewell to High Court judge

The Tamil Nadu Advocates Association on Friday organised a farewell function for Justice V. Ramasubramanian, who has been transferred to the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Association president S. Prabakaran, Advocate General A.L. Somayaji, Chairman of Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and other senior advocates felicitated the judge in the event organised in the Bar Council building, Madras High Court premises. Justice Ramasubramanian has been transferred on a request made by him. With his transfer, the judges’ strength of Madras High Court will come down to 41, against the sanctioned strength of 75.
