Kalpana Sridhar and Malathi Ranganathan, residents of T. Nagar, are organising an exhibition of traditional wood carvings, paintings, bronze idols and brass lamps from 10 a.m to 2 p.m and 5 p.m to 9.30 p.m as part of Navaratri celebrations. The exhibition, which was inaugurated on October 11, will be on till October 17.

Customers will also be taught how to maintain the idols, antiquities and paintings at home.

There are more than 1,000 exhibits to choose from including Kerala murals, Thanjavur paintings, tribal paintings, bronze idols of Narashimman, Lord Krishna, Siva, Lakshmi, Panchaloga idols, Yazhli , and lamps with chains. For details, call 94434 56774/ 94440 34123.
