EPFO launches e-payment facility

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has launched the e-payment facility through the National Electronic Fund Transfer and core banking solution to enable members to get their benefits credited in their bank account within a couple of days of claim authorisation.

According to a press release, to avail of this benefit of hassle-free, immediate direct credit of the payment, a claimant is required to enclose a self-attested copy of the first page of the relevant bank passbook or copy of the cancelled cheque along with the claim application.

Also, members are required to furnish their mobile numbers for sending information regarding the credit to their bank account.
