Electoral services launched

Chief Electoral Officer Sandeep Saxena on Friday launched a range of electoral services through common service centres. Launching the services in Mylapore Taluk Office on Friday, Dr.Saxena said over 600 centres in the state will start offering services to residents.

In addition to changing the name and address on the electoral roll, residents will also be able to link Aadhaar number, change name as in Aadhaar data, register mobile number and email address.

A number of visitors to the common service centres are expected to increase following the commencement of electoral services.

Residents can also pay property tax, receive community certificates, get birth certificates or pay water tax at the centres.
