Drug worth two crores seized

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on Sunday, seized 25 kg of banned ephedrene and arrested three persons in this connection here, the police said.

Following a tip-off, two persons who had arrived from Mumbai by train were taken into custody and a parcel containing the drug was seized, the police said.

Based on the information provided by the duo, another person, who arrived by flight from Mumbai, was also arrested.

The value of the seized drug is around Rs. 2 crores, the sources added.
